Senior Service Designer

Job description

Senior Service Designer required to work with a Government department. This is an initial 14 month contract, paying £745 a day, inside IR35, hybrid working.

Job Description:

As part of creating a new platform, we are looking for a Service Designer to design and support implementation of a new target operating model, for how the new reporting platform will be used.

Some discovery work into this by a service designer has already taken place.

Deliverables will include:

·  Shape and define future iterations of the target operating model

·  Collaboratively build transition plans

·  Oversee transition to future operating phases

·  Collaboratively define and develop a ways of working model for a product team within reporting that accommodates existing teams and stakeholders and brings them along

·  Support user researcher in unpicking foundational user needs in reporting

·  Support prioritisation and discovery of new data needs

·  Collaborating across departments to design to be service journeys for data related services (e.g auditing, FOI requests etc)
