Adecco Stevenage have an exciting opportunity for a Sales Support & Order Processing Specialist to join a leading life science company in Stevenage.

The role will be part of the European Sales Controlling organisation and you will be responsible for supporting regional sales activities including order management as well as sales-related support.

Main Responsibilities

Sales-related support

·  Preparing quotes

·  Support Sales on preparing complex quotes

·  Support CRM Function by providing quoting trends and analyse opportunities, e.g., profiling customers based on recent purchasing trends to be used by Sales personnel for sales targeting

·  Support Sales on tender bids with quoting, specials discounts and supporting material preparation (where applicable)

·  Advise sales representatives on product configurations in cooperation with Technical Product Support team and Service organisation

·  Coordinate with Sales and Logistics to send out demos, samples, and marketing materials, where applicable

·  Coordinate with Sales to book appointments for sales representatives, where applicable

·  Act as gatekeeper for CRM and Master Data entries in each European Area (Responsibilities to be defined in coordination with CRM & Master function)

Order Processing & order management support

·  Ensure order fulfilment by liaising with central or local warehouses

·  Ensure timely delivery of product and documentation including import/ export requirements (where applicable)

·  Liaise with sales reps and end-users in relation to order information (including order tracking)

·  Share orders with finance for payment fulfilment (where applicable)

·  Manage order-related complaints

Experience

·  Professional experience in the field of sales support, order management, or equivalent combination of education and work experience

·  Life science industry experience is considered an advantage

·  Experience with order processing, CRM, and quotation solutions

·  Good knowledge of SAP

·  Highly proficient in spoken and written English

·  Experience in project management

·  Commercial understanding of life-sciences product portfolio, being able to provide complex quoting support

·  Customer focus

It is a requirement for this position that the successful candidate has working experience of SAP.
