Job Title: Sales Consultant - Security Industry

Location: Stevenage, Hertfordshire

Hours: Monday - Friday, 9.00 am to 5.30 pm with one-hour unpaid lunch break.

Remuneration: £35,000 per annum (Basic) + Commission

Contract Details: Permanent, Full-time ⏰

Responsibilities:

·  Prepare tenders and quotations for Security Systems, including Intruder Alarm Systems, CCTV, Access Control, and Door Entry

·  Generate new enquiries to achieve sales targets and handle incoming enquiries

·  Give presentations to customers, either on-site or at our premises

·  Maintain a 50% office-based, 50% fieldwork balance to meet clients

·  Quote for takeovers and upgrades of existing systems

Essential Skill Set:

·  Knowledge of Intruder Alarm Systems (Eaton Range, Pyronix, Honeywell)

·  Familiarity with CCTV (Hikvision IP/TVI, Pelco, DM, Adpro, Optex, RVR Solutions)

·  Proficiency in Access Control (ACT, Paxton)

·  Understanding of Door Entry (BPT, Fermax, Videx - IP and Analogue)

·  Expertise in External Lighting (GJD)

·  Familiarity with GUI (Cortech)

·  Knowledge of Monitoring Systems (RedCARE, DualCom, ARC/RVR, GSM/PSTN Diallers)

·  Awareness of Standards (NSI)

·  Appreciation of contract law

·  IT skills in WORD and EXCEL

Please note: Our client conducts thorough security screening as per BS: 7858. Background checks include employment history for the past five years (or since the age of 16 if more recent), Enhanced Disclosure from the DBS, criminal check at Hertfordshire Police Constabulary, Consumer Information Search, and UK Sanctions Check.
