Sales Administrator

Location: Ferndown
Salary: D.O.E
Hours: Mon-Fri 8am-5pm (Overtime available)
Start Date: ASAP

Main Purpose of the Role:

Key to this role is to ensure that all customer contact is handled professionally, courteously and efficiently, with the responsibility of being proactive.
The ideal candidate should be able to communicate on a variety of levels, comfortable working independently and efficiently and within time frames.

Duties and Responsibilities:
*Act as central point of contact for external and internal clients as required.
*Book and manage room bookings / reservations and other requirements i.e. hospitality, technology and tours.
*Use, manage and maintain information in relevant systems i.e. events and room booking solution, CRM, sales forecasting tools and accounts.
*Maintain customer information, sales records and reports.
*Support and undertake sales activity as required, deliver presales support, produce quotations and contract business.
*Preparation and maintenance of client, financial and sales pipeline management information and reports.
*Ensure correct and timely information is provided to Accounts for invoicing.
*Carry out analysis of sales, cost and income information and produce reports as required.
*Support wider team administration as required i.e. tour administration, record keeping, data analysis and reporting.
*To build client and staff relationships to the benefit of the operation.
*Support business development and sales operations with proactive approach to develop sales leads.
*Support marketing campaigns and related activities.

The ideal person will have:
*Experience in a similar Sales Administration environment
*Ability to work independently, under pressure and within tight deadlines
*A professional manner
*Able to work closely as part of a team
*Computer experience and working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages, most importantly Microsoft Excel
*Strong organisational skills
*Ability to work under your own initiative
*Excellent communication skills, over the phone and face-to-face
