Fantastic opportunity to join a well established company based in Newbury. Our client is looking for a Test Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis. Working Monday to Friday 8.45am to 5.15pm with 1 hour break and offering a salary of �20,000 to �25,000.

Duties will include but are not limited to:
*Build and execute test plans for new hardware, software and services in line with the business aims.
*Provide third line support function to the support team.
*Provide training to the support and commercial teams for new products and services.
*Replicate and reproduce issues from the field in the development environment
*Produce technical documentation.
*Provide out of hours support on rota as your skills develop.
*Strong technical competencies and willingness to learn system infrastructure.
*Engineering or technical background - training on industry specifics to be provided.
*Trusted team member and contribute to the development and release process.

*Strong technical background
*Previous experience working within the it/ computer industry
*Educated to degree level or equivalent
*Commitment to learning new skills
*Well organsied and good time management
*Strong communication skills
*Genuine interest in different technologies
*Basic understanding of networking
*Excellent problem solving skills
