Our client in Gloucester is looking for a Purchase Ledger on a permanent basis. You would be working out of a modern office with on-site parking and close to the city centre.
Responsibilities will include:
� Matching, checking and paying supplier invoices
� Managing Petty Cash
� Processing of staff expenses
� Reconciliation of supplier statements
� Making payments via BACS & cheque
� Setting up of new suppliers(vendors) and maintaining existing account details
· Reviewing systems and process and making improvements where necessary
· Maintaining strong relationships with customers and suppliers.
· All duties associated within the finance function
· Any other ad hoc duties deemed appropriate by the Finance Team Leader
· To report directly to the Finance Team Leader
Experience
� Experience as a purchase ledger or accounts assistant
� Previous experience of working on accounting systems
� Desired keyboard skills, Excel & Microsoft office packages
� Good communication and organisational skills essential.
Hours are Monday - Friday 8:30 - 5:30 with 1 hour for lunch
