Working for a large corporate international organisation your role will be responsible for supporting the Project Programme and all related work streams and projects, and to help design, develop and own the Programme Plan ensuring that all milestones, internal and external dependencies are identified, logged and monitored.

Working with Delivery teams to maintain the plan, schedule and dependency information in accordance with best practice.

In addition:

*Providing assistance to the Programme Manager and Project Managers relating to planning maintenance and quality
*Implementing the overarching project management planning policies and procedures and ensuring they are embedded and adhered to
*Support the provision of resource management across the programme
*Report progress against schedule, providing progress metrics and comprehensive schedules in various formats and levels of detail to meet the needs of diverse users or audiences

This role will be based in Basingstoke with occasional travel to other sites.

Qualifications and Experience

*Experience and certifications in the use of MS Project 2013
*Experience of the setup, maintenance and administration of Microsoft Project Server
*Experience and certifications in any of the following are highly desirable: APMG P30, MSP, MoR or other PMO qualification.
*PRINCE2 experience working in PRINCE2/MSP environments for medium to large projects.
*Proven PMO track record in the planning projects within large or complex programmes
*Highly organised and proactive with the ability to prioritise in a high pressure environment
*Experience of influencing, managing and aligning stakeholder expectations, and managing the typical strategic issues that need to be addressed within a planning context
*In depth and broad experience of shaping, translating, leading plans based on operational and external market knowledge
*Experience of end to end Change Strategic Planning within a fast paced programme context
*Experience of effective workshop coordination to produce informed outputs with regard to the planning of project / programme components
*Good financial acumen and experience working in a commercial organisation Knowledge of MS SharePoint advantageous
*Anticipate, plan and ensure project tasks are resourced appropriately
*Manage work package leads and/or project teams to achieve project goals and objectives

*Exceptional interpersonal and stakeholder management skills and the ability to communicate with authority both verbally and in writing at all levels of the business and across different cultures; able to tailor communication appropriately to the requirement of diverse audiences
*Strong stakeholder management skills; able to manage relationships taking into account commercial and practical considerations
*Excellent conflict management and negotiation skills
*A flexible and adaptable attitude, willing to accept and drive change, and able to work comfortably with ambiguity, frequent change and unpredictability
*Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills with the ability to analyse complex situations; responsible and accountable for own decision making

Qualifications and Experience:

*Strong project management experience, ideally gained in strategic complex project delivery; and demonstrated outcome delivery across different types of high-risk, high-value projects
*Formal Project Management Certification is advantageous
*Proven track-record of successful delivery of critical projects
*In depth knowledge and experience of all stages of the project
*Demonstrated ability to drive the planning, execution and delivery of complex projects than span several business areas
*Proven and relevant experience of budget management and resource allocation

The salary is £45-55k depending on experience with a full benefits package and a good training programme.
