Title: Warehouse Operative
Location: Nottingham
- Start Date: ASAP
- Contract Length: 6 months
- Working Pattern: Full Time, Shifts - 3am to 11am & 7am to 3pm
Salary: £13.80 per hour
About Our Client:
Our client, a leading global medical technology company, is seeking a Warehouse Operative to join their team in Nottingham. As part of their organisation, you will be contributing to the future of healthcare and working at their state-of-the-art cyclotron facility on the Nottingham City Hospital campus. Our client is at the forefront of radiopharmaceuticals and molecular imaging, partnering with world-leading research organisations to pioneer new biomarkers and advance nuclear medicine.
Responsibilities:
· Prepare Type A containers and regulatory documentation for the shipment of radiopharmaceuticals in accordance with ADR (carriage of dangerous goods) regulations and cGMP.
· Liaise with couriers to ensure timely deliveries of radiopharmaceuticals to customer sites.
· Maintain adequate stock levels of consumables required for production.
· Flexibility in approach to work according to business needs, including some weekends.
· Provide administrative support, such as archiving of documentation and materials control.
· Operate cyclotron particle accelerator and conduct radionuclidic purity testing of decayed products.
Essential Requirements:
· Experience in logistics or warehousing, with preference for experience in the carriage of dangerous goods (although full training will be provided).
· Physically fit with strong attention to detail.
· Excellent timekeeping skills and ability to work in a high-pressure environment.
· Strong interpersonal skills, with previous experience in a customer-facing role being beneficial.
Desirable:
· Recent graduate in a science-related field.
· Background in chemistry.
· Experience in a similar role.
Technologies:
· Knowledge of ADR regulations and cGMP would be advantageous.
