£25,623-28,000 per annum

(Plus Shift allowance) at 15%

The Role

As a Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing the daily activities of the Manufacturing shift. You will provide support and direction to your team, ensuring they have the tools to carry out their role, establish training needs and correct safety issues. You will also need to assure production output supports the production schedule, meets all applicable quality requirements and engage employees by sharing metrics and how they relate to team performance. You will perform human resource tasks such as recruiting, performance management, training and development, recognition, time management and corrective action. You will champion the principles of lean manufacturing by identifying and perusing opportunities for improvement and promote the concepts of 5S with an emphasis on SDQC (safety, delivery, quality and cost). Ideally you will have relevant manufacturing supervision/management experience and must be able to communicate clearly with a wide variety of people have good organisational skills and strong attention to detail.

The working hours available:

- Two Rotating shifts - 6am to 2pm and 2pm to 10pm, Monday to Friday
