Pre-Sales Technical Engineer

Job description

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:
 Produce accurate quotations relating to complete Electric product portfolio.
 Answer technical / application queries over the phone/by email from customers and account managers.
 Produce wiring and layout drawings and City Multi schematics.
 Analysis of specifications and drawings to produce suitable equipment selections/locations.
 Attend customer visits with Account Managers
 Manage workload & common inbox.
 Training support for customers/ Account Managers.
 Provide technical updates to customers/ account managers when required.
 Ability to prioritise accounts.
 Support 121 sales department as and when required.
 Providing a courteous and helpful service to customers.
 Keep up-to-date with product development and issues.
 Achieve key performance indicators
 Comply to health & safety regulations at all times

PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES:
 Good working knowledge and understanding of air conditioning, heating and chilled water systems and their application.
 Knowledge of industry is required.
 Possess practical hands-on skills.
 Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team.
 Computer literate and competent user of Excel spreadsheets.


 Excellent communication & organisation skills are essential.
 Ability to present technical presentations is desirable.
