Playground Installer - Travel Required £20,000 - Accommodation provided + Expenses

Although direct Playground installation experience would be beneficial, my client are happy to accept CVs from candidates with experience in the following areas: NOTE - Candidates must have experience in more than one of the below, candidates with experience in just one field will not be considered.
· Woodwork
· Assembly of fencing or decking
· Artificial grass installation
· Grounds work
· Construction
This is a rewarding hands-on role installing high quality children's play equipment for a Newcastle based business which operates across the UK. The role will involve working away most weeks Monday - Friday, overtime will be available and paid for and in return the successful candidate will receive a very competitive salary, holiday entitlement, paid accommodation and expenses on top.
The Role as a Play Equipment Manufacturer and Installer you work from exacting design drawings to manufacture and install children's play equipment to precise dimensions.
Your duties will include: *
· Process / interpret and manufacture bespoke & in-house designs.
· Work with wood, metal and rope using a variety of different machine and hand tools.
· Interpreting 2D and 3D designs.
· Undertake quality assurance inspections and tests.
· Stock control of materials / maintenance & management of
· Install playground equipment in different geographic locations.
· Liaise with customers representing the company when necessary.
The Person
As a Playground Equipment Installer, you will be practical and accustomed to hard physical work, with experience working with wood, metal and rope using both hand & power tools. Experience or being able to work and understand complex 3D designs would be beneficial.
You will be creative, flexible, enthusiastic and hard-working with the following:
· Excellent communication skills and an ability to liaise with customers when required.
· Able to work unsupervised and part of a team to see projects through to completion.
· Flexible attitude - there will be some working in the Newcastle area however, most works will be completed away from home.
The ideal candidate will be able to provide a satisfactory DBS and health assessment check.
