Job description
Adecco Durham are currently recruiting for an experienced Payroll Administrator for our global client based in the Belmont area.
This role is a temporary, on-going role.
Hours: Full-time (36.25)
Salary: £9.55p/h
Job Description
Processes payroll in line with payroll running timetable, including calculation and manual input
Maintains employee records on the payroll system
Dispatch reports and other output to internal service lines and external customers in line with payroll running timetable.
Responds to any queries received by internal/external customers and escalates if necessary.
Assists in the testing/implementation of new services and the continuous improvement/development of existing services
Assists with the daily and annual archiving exercise
Responding to emails ,running and distributing reports and importing data on to the payroll system.
Performs other duties as assigned by the Team Leader/Manager from time to time.
Person Specification
Knowledge of PAYE and NIC legislation and rules is preferable
Knowledge of manual payroll calculations
Experience with SAP HR systems and/or other payroll systems
Experience of working within Shared Service environment
Experience of working to tight deadlines and high volume processing desirable.
