Adecco currently recruiting for a Part Time Survey Interviewer for a well known establishment based in North Wales. We are looking for fluent welsh speakers who are confident communicating over the phone. This position is permanent with a starting salary of £17,940 per annum.

OVERALL PURPOSE OF JOB:

The role is responsible for undertaking satisfaction surveys with victims of crime including domestic abuse. This feedback will ensure the Force is aware of any issues with delivering an effective service and allow improvements to be made for future victims, as well as identifying where service delivery is working. The role will also undertake checks to ensure safeguarding is in place before contacting victims.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

·  Undertake telephone interviews with victims of crime following a pre-defined script in English and Welsh

·  Use Computer Aided Telephone Interviewing software, accurately recording written responses in English or Welsh

·  Undertake safeguarding checks of victims following all processes and documenting all decisions made in relation to exclusions

·  Escalate any issues or concerns as a result of undertaking calls through the agreed route

·  Promote and comply with North Wales Police policies on equal opportunities and health and safety both in the delivery of services and the treatment of others.

·  Any other duties as directed by the Supervisory Officer commensurate with the post and salary grading.

Essential

·  NVQ level 2, or an equivalent amount of proven relevant experience.

·  Excellent verbal and written communication skills demonstrating an ability to confidently relate to a broad spectrum of people in a tactful and sensitive manner.

·  Good knowledge and experience with Windows based computer applications within a working environment

·  Good typing skills to enable capture of any verbal responses to questions

·  Appreciation of the importance of confidentiality and safe working practice.

·  Ability to demonstrate level of awareness of equality and diversity issues appropriate to this role.

Desirable

·  Previous experience of working within a statutory, voluntary, community, private social care or customer service environment dealing with members of the public.

·  Knowledge and experience with using CATI (Computer Aided Telephone Interview) software
