Part Time Accounts Assistant - Chelmsford

Job description

Our client, a leading supplier of manufacturing equipment, is seeking a P art Time Accounts Assistant to support their finance team. This is a temporary position with flexible working hours.

·  Conduct credit control tasks, ensuring timely payments from clients

·  Manage petty cash and maintain accurate records

·  Provide finance support, assisting with financial reports and analysis

·  Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders

·  Assist with basic accounting duties, such as data entry and reconciliations

·  Strong credit control and finance skills

·  Excellent communication abilities

·  Basic accounting knowledge

·  Experience in petty cash management

·  Attentive to detail with strong organisational skills

·  Ability to work collaboratively within a team

·  Proficiency in financial software (SAGE) and Microsoft Office 365 suite

- Part-time role: 24 hours per week

·  Flexibility with days and hours, subject to agreement

·  Temporary position

- Start date: December 2024

- End date: to be confirmed but likely to be a 12 month role

- Pay Grade: £13.50 per hour (dependent on experience and skills)
