Network Engineer Contract Cork 11 Months. My client a global leader in their space is in urgent need of a talented and experienced Network Engineer to join their team on a contract for 11 months with possibility of extension or permanency.

Candidates will be expected to work with the manager to create rack layouts & port map documents. Guide the clients Lab team on installation of new switches & servers. Cabling new switches & servers, Initialise the client server iDrac. You will configure Top of Rack networking switches as per my clients standards. You will Integrate the clients serves with VxRail lab provisioning services and Deploy VM on management cluster and create DHCP services. You will also work with my client Cyber Security if they need firewall ports open in the lab.Updating documentation - network design doc, rack layouts, port maps. Network switch backups, Network monitoring.

Successful candidates will have Networking experience , CCNA level, 2-3 years of hands on & troubleshooting experience. You will have VMware, VCA/VCP level, 2-3 years hands on & troubleshooting experience. Also a General lab know-how, can cable, trace cables, troubleshoot at physical layer.
