Our client, a well known and successful organisation are looking to recruit a Mailroom Operator.

This role is a on-going contract, is paying between £7-9 per hour and is based in various central London locations.

The purpose of this position is to take responsibility for a variety of activities to support organisations and professionals. The role Includes operating the print and finishing operator.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate printing and finishing equipment used in the Print Room to achieve the requested output and to the required quality standard.
- Be proficient in the use of Scanning facilities to obtain digital files from hard copy master material.
- Manipulate electronic files sent from a customer to achieve the required page layout and balance. This can involve adjusting image size, cropping image, adjusting proportion and position of elements in a composite image.
- Use computer controls to define the output and make adjustments, as found necessary, to compensate for inadequacies in the input and/or machine variations in performance.
- Set up and operate machines to accommodate the size, thickness and surface characteristics of the required stock (paper, card, etc).

Skills Required:

- Experience gained within reprographics/service environment.
- Ability to deliver a high level of customer service.
- Project management skills.
- Strong IT skills, including use of databases, Microsoft Office and online tools.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Excellent organisation and time management skills.
- Proven ability to deliver to tight deadlines.
- Negotiation and problem solving skills.
- Ability to cope with periods of high workload.
