Working as a Job Search Advisor on a new service line offered by DWP to the general public. You will be responsible for assisting both the short and long term unemployed population to get back into the world of work.

Taking both in-bound and making out-bound calls you will utilise a Case Management process and be their one point of contact through the course of their search for a new position.

Utilising email, telephone and web-help you will guide callers and candidates and the purpose of the role will be to identify what support is needed and record this in the relevant systems; to provide advice and guidance on recruitment practices, approaches, CV writing, and career changes.

This is initially a working from home position but you need to ideally live within 25-35 miles of Newcastle City Centre in order to collect IT kit to ensure you can effectively work in this role from the comfort of your own home.

This role starts more or less immediately with collection of your kit scheduled for 29th and 30th of December and training commencing on 31st December, 4th and 5th January - you will be fully supported in both your training and your assignment by online and virtual training and management procedures.

The department is open 9am - 5pm Monday - Friday. This is a long term temporary position and the hourly rate is £9.43p/h.
