Job description

North Wales Police are looking for an Administration Assessor to join their Investigation Support Team.

The roles for 6 months initially, and the working hours will be variable, working under a rotating shift pattern, including some weekend, bank holiday and evening work(with shift and weekend allowance paid on top of standard rate)

The main duties of the role are:

- To act as a main point of contact for Police Officers and staff seeking to report non-urgent occurrences by phone.
- To provide support to operational staff dealing with occurrences that they are investigating.
- Regularly ensure that occurrences are updated, and relevant data has been recorded correctly.
- To liaise with other agencies as required, and in compliance with data sharing policies.

The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate (with evidence) skills in the following areas:

- Good communication skills together with the ability to work well in a team environment, and also under own initiative.
- Proven IT ability to an intermediate level, with experience using Microsoft software packages.
- The ability to make decisions swiftly and effectively, demonstrating clear thought processes.
- Level 3 in Welsh speaking, or be able to converse partly in Welsh.
