Working Hours: full time hours
Our Andover based client are looking for an experienced HR Advisor to join their busy HR team which supports a manufacturing business. The HR Advisor will ensure a high quality HR service and solutions are provided to the business and will support managers in achieving their objectives through utilising their workforce to its full potential.
Responsibilities will include:
- Supporting managers in the use of HR policies and procedures
- Ensuring managers are complying with employee relations legislation and are incorporating this within their management of colleagues
- taking ownership for case management e.g. disciplinarians, grievances, attendance and performance issues. Supporting managers deal with these issues, provide advice, lead investigations and formal procedures, and assisting with corrective action and communicating with third parties where necessary
- Work in partnership with the business and ensure good working relationships with key stakeholders
Successful applicants will have:
- proven experience working in HR in an advisory capacity
- experience working within a manufacturing/production/industrial environment
- excellent IT skills and the ability work with all Microsoft Office software
- flexibility to travel where necessary throughout the UK
- CIPD qualification or equivalent experience
