Here at Adecco we are currently seeking an experienced Housing/Advice Worker to join one of our clients on a contract basis. This is anticipated to last up to March of next year.
You will be an integral part of the team dealing with referrals and assessing client needs to ensure the appropriate services are meet.
Due to the nature of this role, you must have great communication skills to address the needs of clients. This role blends advice and support in which you will cover a range of activities. This will include, assessing client needs, providing housing, money and debt advice and support to clients.
Experience and responsibilities:
· Develop, maintain and coordinate effective relationships
· Develop support plans
· Provide support to clients with complex needs
· Sustain accommodation
· Experience working with clients with complex needs
· Knowledge of housing and/or benefits
· Understanding of processes
· Proficiency using a case management system and Microsoft Office
Ideally you will be immediately available for this position and a current member of the PVG scheme. A relevant housing qualification is also required for this position or a proven track record in a similar field.
