Goods out Warehouse Picker/Packer

Job description

We are currently seeking a Warehouse operative for our Client.

Key responsibilities will include:

·  Locating, picking & packing stock whilst showing attention to detail.

·  Palletising & labelling packages ready for despatch.

·  Moving pallets & orders between departments/buildings, using pump trucks.

·  General warehouse maintenance (keeping all locations and isles free of debris, sweeping, clearing all areas & other ad hoc duties)

·  Health & Safety

·  Communicating & working with other departments

·  Warehouse holiday cover for goods in/stock control departments.

·  Other Ad/Hoc duties

Knowledge & Skills will include:

·  Counterbalance Truck Licence would be advantageous but not essential.

·  Attention to detail & good communication skills.

·  Ability to prioritise workload.

·  Reliable, with good time keeping skills.

·  Knowledge of H&S & Warehouse procedures

Candidates will ideally have previous warehouse experience, applicants will be expected to lift heavy materials daily and be reliable, flexible & trustworthy.
