Goods In Warehouse Operative

Job description

We are currently seeking a Goods-in operative for our Client.

Key responsibilities will include:

·  Loading & Unloading of vehicles using forklift, pump-truck & hand

·  Checking receipt of deliveries against all relevant paperwork

·  Identifying & reporting incorrect deliveries and damages

·  Movement of stock from the goods-in area to overstocks, picking/packing

·  Stock replenishments

·  General warehouse maintenance

Knowledge & Skills will include:

·  Counterbalance Truck Licence would be advantageous but not essential

·  Attention to detail & good communication skills

·  Ability to prioritise workload

·  Knowledge of H&S & Warehouse procedures

·  Full driving licence would be advantageous but not essential

Candidates will ideally have previous warehouse experience although this is not essential. Applicants should be able to lift heavy materials daily and be reliable, flexible & trustworthy.
