Full Stack Analyst/ Analytics Engineer required (Cyber Analytics)
Location: Farringdon or Welwyn garden city - Hybrid working 3 days a week onsite
My client is a blue chip FMCG and retail brand that serve millions of customers every week from all over the globe. With over 6,000 stores internationally my client is a well-known household name that offer several exciting opportunities.
About the Role:
We are looking for a Full-Stack Analyst, known internally as an Analytics Engineer-a hybrid role that combines the best of analytical and engineering capabilities. Traditional analysts excel in visualisation and storytelling, but this role goes beyond that. You'll be responsible for building data models, ETLs, and creating insights that drive cybersecurity strategy and performance against key KPIs.
As part of the Cyber Analytics team, you will transform raw data into well-documented, tested data models. These models will enable security teams to develop reporting capabilities, advanced analytics, machine learning, and GenAI solutions to enhance security defences. This is a highly collaborative role where you'll work across security and data teams to ensure data is accurate, reliable, and accessible.

Key Responsibilities:
* Data Integration & Transformation: Build ETL/ELT pipelines to support both real-time and batch use cases within a cloud data lake.
* Data Modelling & Quality: Develop logical and physical data models and maintain high data quality standards for cyber data products.
* Coding & Documentation: Write high-quality code and documentation for data pipelines, models, and quality metrics.
* Visualisation & Reporting: Leverage tools like Tableau to create visualisations aligned with business KPIs.
* Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to drive insights and ensure the usability of data across the organisation.
Key Skills & Competencies:
* Proficiency in Python and SQL.
* Experience with dbt and data orchestration tools like Airflow.
* Strong data modelling, data quality, and ETL development skills.
* Familiarity with cloud platforms, particularly Databricks on Azure.
* Proficient in data visualisation tools, such as Tableau.
* Good understanding of data lakes, data warehouses, and version control systems (e.g., Git).
* Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and practices.
