My client based in Seer Green is looking for an EMEA Event Specialist to join their team on a 6 month minimum contract.

Salary: £26,000 (pro rata)

Weekly Hours: 37.5

**This role will involve some travel within the UK & Ireland, as well as occasional travel to Western Europe. **

Overview:

TheEMEA Event Specialist is responsible for efficiently and effectively planning, producing and managingtradeshows, events and conferences. TheEMEA Event Specialist will work closely with management to ensure that events are aligned to support the overall marketing strategy, deliver value to our customers and ensure that events are delivered in the most efficient and effective manner, delivering results.

Responsibilities:

·  The primary responsibility of the EMEA Event Marketing Specialist is to lead the planning and production of tradeshows, events, and conferences including:

·  Ensure that the event / tradeshow / conference goals are clear and aligned to our strategic objectives

·  Establish the scope and approach for the event

·  Gather and organise both internal and external event requirements

·  Prepare a detailed plan including tasks, resource needs, assignments and due dates

·  Gather and align both internal and external resources to deliver the event with high quality

·  Manage the budget, identifying and capitalising on opportunities for efficiency

·  Partner with colleagues to track and measure outcomes

·  Collaborate with

·  Event Marketing colleagues to:

·  Develop annual event priorities, objectives and plans

·  Align approaches to ensure consistent, efficient and complete delivery

·  Share best practices, lessons learned and opportunities for improvement

·  Field, Segment and Portfolio Marketing colleagues and Sales Leadership to:

·  Identify and prioritise event and tradeshow goals and participation

·  Align the event messaging to our global campaigns as well as our portfolio and segment marketing plans

·  Promote the event through our Sales, Digital and Physical marketing channels

·  Creative and Digital Marketing colleagues to plan, design and execute event marketing

·  Marketing Operations to ensure timely and complete capture of customer participation and sales leads and opportunities

·  Marketing Analytic to ensure complete, timely and actionable event analytic

Qualifications:

·  A bachelor's degree in a Marketing, Business or related field

·  3+ year's experience in tradeshow and event marketing

·  Experience utilising technologies including Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook, and Project to plan and track projects as well as communicate with colleagues and partners

·  Demonstrated ability to coordinate large events with multiple stakeholders

·  Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills

·  French Speaker (desirable)
