Job Title: Dual Skilled Maintenance Technician
Salary: Competitive
Hours: Day shift pattern working 4 days on and 4 days off, 4 x 12 hour shifts
Location: Poole, Dorset

A successful company in Poole is recruiting for a Dual Skilled Maintenance Technician. The company supplies a vast range of hard landscaping and building products including block and decorative paving, natural stone, decorative aggregates, walling, and specialist kerbs.

Duties:

- To support a versatile and highly motivated team of flexible manufacturing operators to produce a first class, concrete block paving product, to agreed quality and productivity and at optimum cost.
- To repair plant breakdowns in a robust and timely manner to enable the plant to achieve target OEE.
- To perform and review planned preventative maintenance tasks to ensure that the tasks are relevant and timely to ensure plant availability.
- To assist in the realisation of capital projects and site based projects to improve the overall productivity and working environment across the site.
- To assist with the upkeep of all site assets through on-going maintenance and repair.


Required Skills:

- Time served Mechanical/Electrical Apprentice.
- C&G qualification (or equivalent) minimum requirement.
- HNC or ONC qualification (or equivalent) would be desirable.
- Clear and logical approach to problem solving.
- Strong Safety, Health and Environmental awareness, focused on achieving an accident free workplace and reducing the team/process impact on the environment.
- Experience of working with PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers).
- Experience of working in a PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance) environment.
- Experience with operating & maintaining automatic machinery.
