Digital and social media specialist

Position Mission:

The Digital and Social Media Specialist will be charged with managing several our client's social media profiles and executing related strategies. This role is the point person for creating and executing online content and identifying new social trends and functionality to increase our engagement with our client's online followers. The successful candidate will have a demonstrated history of working in a fast-paced environment while delivering multiple projects on schedule with no errors.

Responsibilities Include:

Creating and managing engaging, shareable content (original text, images, video or HTML) across all channels, including social, website(s) and our client's app and ensure alignment with our client's editorial policy.

Manage our client's social presence and creative executions on Facebook, Twitter (in English) and WeChat and Weibo (in Chinese) and other online properties with our client's global team.

Partner to develop and execute strategic plans to grow followers and increase engagement within social channels.

Moderate all user-generated content in line with the moderation policy for each community and our client's editorial policy.

Maintain good implementation and coordination of our clients -branded live steam missions across a variety of platforms.

Have the ability to self-manage while managing projects under tight deadlines.

Continuously improve by capturing and analysing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights and best practices, and then acting on the information.

Create editorial calendars and syndication schedules.

Requirements:

High level of proficiency in both Mandarin and English, with sensitivity to text.

In-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms and their respective participants (Facebook, Twitter, WeChat, Weibo etc.) and how they can be deployed.

A minimum of 1-2 years of social media or video production experience in a professional environment.

Knowledge of popular software, such as Photo shop, Premiere etc.

Ability to effectively communicate information and ideas in written and verbal format.

A strong work ethic and consistent attention to detail.

A positive attitude.

Demonstrated experience in live streaming is a big plus.
