Job Title: Developer Contributions Principal Planner
Location: East London
Contract Details: Temporary, Full Time
Salary: £28.56 - £35.80 per hour
Responsibilities:
· Lead the developer contributions (S106 and CIL) work programme
· Administer and review the Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL)
· Negotiate and administer s106 and CIL receipts
· Develop policies, procedures, and guidance notes for planning obligations
· Provide specialist technical advice to stakeholders
· Represent the organisation on corporate working parties and decision-making structures
Essential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):
· Comprehensive knowledge of Town and Country Planning Act and legislation
· Degree in Town Planning or related field
· Experience in spatial planning or related discipline
· Strong communication and organisational skills
· Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Desirable (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):
· Membership of the RTPI or RICS
· Experience in economic viability and planning policy
· Supervisory or line management experience
Technologies: IT systems, business systems/process solutions
