Are you passionate about data protection and ensuring compliance with regulations? Our client, a leading organisation in the Public Sector, is seeking a skilled Data Protection Business Partner to join their team on a Fixed Term Contract.

Your Role:

As a Data Protection Business Partner, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of Data Protection & Information Governance. Your role will involve ensuring compliance with current and future data protection regulations, as well as industry best practises. You will also play a vital role in fostering a compliance culture, providing guidance, training, and support to staff engaged in data processing activities.

Key Responsibilities:

·  Monitor and ensure compliance with GDPR and other relevant data protection laws

·  Oversee Data Subject Access Requests (DSAR) and Rights requests

·  Manage data protection breaches and complaints, developing action plans for prevention

·  Act as the main point of contact for regulatory bodies and external legal advisors

·  Provide consultative advice on data privacy matters

About You:

·  Customer-focused with excellent interpersonal skills

·  Extensive experience and knowledge of GDPR and UK Data Protection Act 2018

·  Proficient in Microsoft Office 365

·  Ability to prioritise tasks and work independently

·  Strong attention to detail and commitment to data quality
