Job Description:
The Data Entry Clerk is responsible for entering data from various sources into the appropriate system. In this role, the applicant needs to be proficient at interpreting complex information and need to have good interpersonal and communication skills, as the applicant may be required to deal with both external agencies and internal customers. If the data is unreadable, the applicant will be responsible for obtaining use able data from the appropriate customers.

Applicants for this role will need to be familiar with various software packages and have a good typing speed. They will need to have strong analytical skills and excellent organisational skills. They should also to be able to work to deadlines and use their own initiative.

Key Responsibilities of this role
* Verify accuracy of data - cross-verify all data provided before entering into the appropriate system. This is essential as business decisions are made based on the accuracy of the data provided.
* Make necessary changes or corrections
* Provide assistance in building robust data management systems
* Suggest the most effective and efficient data management systems for specific business needs, as applicable
* Retrieve information in the right format at the right time
* Maintaining confidentiality at all times
* Keep record of work completed
* Other responsibilities include communicating with managers and maintaining proper information flow and having general business awareness and necessary information. Additionally, it includes coordinating with other Data Centres and information points, coordinating with managers for generating necessary reports, understanding important and key business information, and prioritising it

* Software, written & communication skills such as word processing, spread sheets, database, and other related record management software.
