Adecco Kendal are currently recruiting for our client based in Kendal for a temporary Data Cleanser.

The role of the job is to provide technical support to re-align the digital data on Ordnance Survey Positional Accuracy Improvement (PAI) background mapping.

Duties may include:

1. Ensure the effective development and maintenance of the clients Positional Accuracy requirements.

2. Supporting measures to validate the correctness, currency, coverage and completeness compliant with the Ordnance Survey's Positional Accuracy Improvement (PAI) programme.

3. Assist the positional accuracy process in line with statutory obligation, and assist in the full integration of the Ordnance Survey's Positional Accuracy Improvement (PAI) programme.

4. Maintain quality criteria, procedures and data entry conventions are fully adhered to in the process.

5. Ensure that changes are communicated to all interested parties and make sure all queries are resolved.

6. Assist any cleaning and/ or matching processes and ensure the required standards are achieved.

7. Where necessary, notify changes, additions and deletions in the Ordnance Survey's Positional Accuracy Improvement (PAI) programme to other members of staff.

The ideal person would be someone who takes their work seriously, pays attention to detail, is focused on the task and not easily distracted. Someone who likes repetition but is also able to apply intelligence.

A background in planning, Legal or GIS mapping that would be an advantage.

Working hours are Monday - Friday, 9.00am - 5.00pm but these hours are flexible as our client uses flexi time.
