Are you looking for a Customer service / Administration position just outside of Maidenhead.

My client a manufacturing company are looking for a Customer Service Administrator to join their team on a permanent basis.

The overall purpose of the role is to ensure fulfilment of orders through effective information exchange and daily interface (as appropriate and required) with customers, distributors, commercial team, operations planners, world-wide site shipping and supply chain contacts.

Job Responsibilities:

- Maintain ownership of all details and communication throughout the quote to cash process.
- Be familiar with the product list and product information.
- Improve customer satisfaction and loyalty by building strong relationships with customer accounts.
- Negotiate commitment dates and enforcement of business rules with customers for all sales orders.
- Manage the entry, routing, and fulfilment of customer requests for information relating to order fulfilment such as requests for pricing, product availability, MSDS, COC, product specification sheets, shipment tracking, etc.
- Adhere to all order fulfilment and ISO procedures and any applicable cross functional process to ensure orders are processed right the first time.
- Carry out P.O. review throughout the entire order processing cycle ensuring pricing accuracy per documented price deviations and communications.
- Perform any required credit/debit memo adjustments / return of material as per global guidelines, obtaining and documenting all necessary approvals and doing any necessary follow up with internal/external customers as needed.
- Follow all environmental and safety regulations, related to the business sector, and act in compliance with all EU laws.
- Coordinate daily incoming order via the email Inboxes.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Reception duties will include welcoming and signing in of visitors, answering incoming calls, filing, daily post out, courier booking, order entry, dispatch notes, and general customer service.

Essential Skills, Education & Experience:

- A level and 3-5 years of Customer Service experience in the manufacturing industry or related fields.
- Proficiency in MS Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Good attention to detail.
- Understands freight terms, payment terms, and pricing terms.
- Ability to liaise with other cross functional employees within Supply Chain and work with multiple processes and procedures.
- Possess a high level of initiative and judgment based on the ability to "hear" customer problems.
- Highly independent worker.
- Ability to recognise, analyse, and offer solutions to customer problems or involve the necessary people to ensure the problem is properly resolved.
- Ability to analyse customer order patterns to enable continuous improvement of order fulfilment process;
- Quick learner and can keep an open mind to changes that may impact daily activities.
