Thinking outside of the box to put together creative solutions to best meet the organisations needs and willing to challenge the suppliers to gain maximum benefit for the business. Determining the needs of the customer and work with other parts of the organisation to forecast demand and evaluate inventory levels and take orders from within the organisation. You will need to have excellent communication skills, able to build relationships with customers and manage their needs. Conducting routine interactions with both Production and the Warehouse, in order to coordinate efforts to provide the best outcome for the customer. Self-directed and detail oriented, the successful candidate will have an inquisitive nature and the desire to solve problems with analytical thinking. They will need to have good organisational skills and experience with working as part of a team. Extensive experience in prioritising and organising work activities and managing multiple tasks simultaneously within set deadlines and time-lines with a sound knowledge of cost control.

Primary Focus

·  To take ownership, manage and proactively communicate to customers, and all other stakeholders, the progress of customer orders (incl. components, solutions and service) from receipt to delivery.

·  Continuous development of supply chain and its processes.

Specialist Area

·  Developing and Management of Orders for Strategic & Important customers.

·  Developing and managing strategy for large /Replicating orders.

Secondary Focus

·  Ensure the processing, planning and prioritisation of customer orders is based on the strategy.

·  Manage parts supply of in accordance with build requirements and customer needs.

Department Norms

·  Take ownership of all assigned activities "make it your mission" to see them through to completion to meet the customer needs.

·  Create transparency at all stages to improve team performance, ownership & communication.

General responsibilities

·  Use the appropriate processes & tools the ensure we meet the customer delivery requirements

·  Monitor & respond to internal & external requests promptly

·  Create transparency by maintaining proper and adequate files and records at all times.

·  Preparation of build documentation packs in time for production.

·  Troubleshoot any orders that do not meet customer needs or are outside the norm.

·  Support production staff with any queries during build.

·  Play an active role in virtual teams.

·  Vendor relationship, ensure relationships with key vendor is managed in a consistent manner.

·  Create, manage and run all required reports.

·  Adhere to all company processes including all development tools.

·  Other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.

Technical Skills Required:

·  Order Coordination

·  Order Management (CIPS/CILT)

Other Skills Required:

·  Good Customer facing Skills - ability to communicate professionally at any level of business and interpret the customer's requirements.

·  Time Management - Can effectively priorities their own time to maximum effectiveness - manage multiple projects.

·  Computer literate with a good working knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

·  Written communication is clear and written to a professional standard.

·  Uses strong analytical skill in all decision making.

·  Knowledge of SAP

·  Deliver Supply Chain effect to the customer in a cost-efficient manner.

Salary: up to £28,000 per annum (Depending on experience)

Hours: 37.5 per week
