Hours: Monday to Friday shift Work 6 till 2 and 12 till 8 pm

Salary: £10.00 per hour temp to perm £20,000 as perm starting salary

Candidate profile:

The successful candidate must have previous experience in a warehouse position as a counter balance FLT driver. Reporting directly to the Logistics and Warehouse Manager, the idle candidate will work closely with both the Production and Logistics departments; they should be comfortable working as part of a medium team. They must be able to take on and own this position and its associated tasks, treating all goods as their own, and operate in an honest and forthright manner.

Responsible for:

* Performing regular physical stock checks, and ensuring that Inventory System is kept updated on a daily basis

* Booking all goods-in via existing Inventory System

* Site housekeeping including efficient storage of all stock items, stock picking and return of stock to store

* Waste management of used containers and waste chemicals

* Assisting with booking goods out as/when required (Bill of Lading)

* Assisting with labelling activities

* Site security and fire safety checks

* General site cleanliness and tidiness

* Other Warehouse and Maintenance duties required

� Loading and unloading lorries

� Good in and goods out

� Stock control and stock rotation

Key Skills Required:

* Organised and efficient, with great attention to detail around product names, batch codes and specifications

* Good arithmetic, literacy and IT are essential (Word/Excel)

* Good communicator with the ability to receive work instructions and communicate them effectively to colleagues

* Ability to work under pressure and with changing priorities

* Strong work ethic and a can-do attitude

Qualifications Required:

Valid counter balance fork lift truck license holder essential

* First aid certificate and/or fire marshal training would be an advantage
