Our client, a well known and successful organisation are looking to recruit a Coordinator of Charity Volunteers, start ASAP, duration until end of March, sal £13.34ph.
This job is responsible for projects that support the volunteer journey, ensuring that the client deliver an excellent experience to recruit, retain and motivate Macmillan volunteers.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Administrative
*Provide administrative support to the Volunteering Journey Programme Manager as well as the wider Journey team which includes learning and development, engagement, recruitment and systems.
*Coordinate and provide administrative support to relevant meetings or training including booking rooms, venues, refreshments, equipment and booking any necessary travel and accommodation as agreed.
*Coordinate the collection and collation of statistics and other reports relating to the annual volunteering survey.
*Support budget tracking processes.
Communications and Events
*Support the development of an internal and external communications plan, taking on key projects within this relating to social media, newsletters and other communication products.
*Update and ensure accessibility of marketing and communication materials relating to the volunteering experience.
*Input ideas for and support the planning and administration of the volunteer conference and awards ceremony.
*Lead on and support development of engagement marketing products.
Business Systems
*Work with the Business Systems Lead (Volunteering) to support development of future systems and databases.
*Be first point of contact for CRM and relevant systems across volunteering team; understanding volunteering business needs
*Develop key processes relating to data capture and relevant systems, including CRM, that support volunteering and ensure that they are consistent across the organisation
Other
*Lead own work areas and take an active role in other departmental and organisational initiatives
*Carry out other associated duties as may arise, develop or be assigned in line with the broad remit of the post
*Represent the team as and where relevant at internal and external events and conferences
*Be proactive in keeping up to date with developments affecting your work
