Adecco in Bolton are managing the recruitment of a Communications/ Marketing Assistant on behalf our client in the Bolton area.

Within this role you will assist the development and delivery of the communications and marketing business plan; through the generation of proactive communications, media relations and social media opportunities which promote the strategic objectives of the business.

The role requires an extremely organised, yet flexible approach, coupled with the ability to work to deadlines, sometimes under pressure. Excellent communication skills are essential together with the ability to thrive in a busy customer-focused service environment.

You will support in all areas of internal and external communication, including the creation and implementation of marketing and communication plans. Designing and developing internal and external promotions including press release copy.

You will also support the company social media pages, ensuring the brand is present and consistent across social media platforms, the company website and direct mail.

Our client operate within the professional services sector.

KNOWLEDGE & QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in a communications/marketing/PR role
- Experience and knowledge of using social media as a marketing tool
- Minimum A-level education (or equivalent)
- Experience working in a customer service and business administration environment would be beneficial.
- PC Literate - good working knowledge of Microsoft applications e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint . In addition knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, WordPress and design software and a project planning applications would be advantageous.
