Happy to be working on behalf of this very busy machine shop based near Wakefield.
This company is a sub contract machine shop who takes work on from all industries including oil and gas and aerospace engineering. the company are experiencing a very busy period and want to take on a new CNC programmer who is fluent with both offline and online programming. The machines that the company run on have various control systems including Fanuc and HAAS. You will be dealing with a range of materials such as Stainless, Mild, Inconel and Brass/copper.
Being able to manually program on the lathes console is vital
* The ideal candidate will be available to start immediately and enjoys the job satisfaction of programming consoles and then quickly moving onto the next program to be done.
* You must have experience of working to tight tolerances that can vary anywhere between a couple of millimetres all the way down to a thou.
* Excellent knowledge of health and safety practices in engineering and workshop cleanliness is required to comply with the companies stellar reputation and working ethics.
* The key attribute my client is looking for is motivation and a real drive to progress and push the company in this very busy time.
This is a constant days position and hours are flexible for the right candidate.
The client is looking to interview quickly and is willing to go out of hours to potentially meet the correct candidate for a first stage interview. A second stage interview will involve a trial morning or afternoon at the company to ensure that the candidate is to their specification.
The company are willing to offer an excellent salary of £15 an hour, 40 hours per week and 22 holiday days a year plus statuary.
