I'm delighted to represent my client based in Northumberland. They are an awarding winning meat manufacturer, with 7 business operating together across the UK & Ireland; and are looking to recruit two part time cleaners. The role is not for the faint hearted - please only apply for the role if you have genuine interest, and are committed.

The organisation are an abattoir so you will be expected to complete the following duties:

- Workers must also keep themselves germ-free.

- They should wash their hands before their shifts begin, after each specific disinfecting job, after eating or smoking, and after using the bathroom.

- Any bacteria on the hands of the workers will be transferred to the food being processed. The worker's uniforms must be clean, and they should change into the outfits on site, just before beginning their shifts, to keep the contaminates normally found on clothing away from the meat.

- Workers should not wear jewellery, as microorganisms can live in the crevices of the metal.

- Hair coverings and gloves are a must when cleaning the house.

- Cleaning throughout the site, from the offices within to the actual abattoir.

- There will be carcass and blood remains, workers in the abattoir do clean down their own stations, but you will be expected to perform a deep clean to promote hygiene throughout.

The hours of work at 3pm-8pm Monday to Friday, with an opportunity to go permanent if you are seen to be a reliable candidate.
