Full time 36hrs per week

Shift patterns between 7am-7pm Mon-Sat

12 month temporary role

Full UK driving licence required

Parking knowledge is essential for this post. .

As a Civil Enforcement Officer you are responsible for enforcing the provisions of the traffic and parking regulations in respect of both on and off street parking.

You will be required to work a shift pattern between 7am and 7pm including Saturdays, totalling 36 hours per week.

Duties will include:

·  Patrolling designated routes within the special parking areas and roads, subject to parking regulations within the borough of Croydon.

·  Patrolling all permitted parking places, controlled parking zones (CPZs) and designated bus routes at all times during the day and evening.

·  Issuing penalty charge notices where any vehicle is found to be in breach of parking regulations.

·  Issuing penalty charge notices (PCNs) to ensure compliance with traffic regulation orders including enforcing footway parking bans, overnight commercial vehicle bans and mandatory school "keep clear" markings.

·  Patrolling the borough's pedestrian crossing zigzags and other decriminalised contraventions, as appropriate.

·  On issue of PCNs, ensuring sufficient photographic evidence provided.
