Caretaker required for 5* Residential Development
Stanmore, Harrow
Tuesday - Saturday 7am - 3pm
Permanent Contract
�19,000 annual salary

My client is looking for an Estate Operative/Caretaker a 5* residential development in Stanmore to be responsible for inspecting, on a daily basis, all external and internal areas of the residential building and report any defects, security or health and safety concerns to the Estate Manager.

Key duties will include:
*Entering all relevant comments/details in the reception diary, as necessary.
*Completing all daily, weekly and monthly checks in accordance with schedule of log provided.
*Changing all defective light bulbs where appropriate. Where light bulbs are inaccessible they should be logged and reported to the Estate Manager so that appropriate attention may be organised.
*Providing high levels of customer service at the development and seeking to achieve continuous improvement.
*Acting in a courteous and helpful manner to all occupiers in addition to members of the public, other staff, guests, and to contractors employed on the development.
*Ensuring the development is a well managed, safe, clean and secure environment in which to live and work.
*Entering all relevant comments/details in the development logs.

Skills and experience required:
* Experience of working in a similar customer focused environment
* Excellent communication skills
* Good understanding of Health and Safety Processes
* A high standard of customer service skills
* Ability to work as part of a team

The successful candidate must have previous experience working in a high-end customer service establishment carrying out the duties of an Estate Operative/Handyman. Residential block management experience and experience on a new build/opening of a development is desirable. A 5* hospitality background is advantageous.
