North Wales Police are currently recruiting for Call Assessors to assist the Investigation Support Team.

This is a 6 month post initially, working on a 4 week rolling shift pattern between the hours of 07:00 and 20:00.

Based in the 999 call centre, the purpose of the role is to support the force in the recording and updating of cases on the police systems and to provide a single point of contact for operational staff requiring support/assistance in relation to occurrences they are investigating.

Duties of the post include:

·  To act as main point of contact for Police officers and Staff seeking to report non-urgent occurrences by telephone, and creating quality corresponding records.

·  To provide a single point of contact for operational staff requiring support/assistance in relation to occurrences they are investigating.

·  To research Force Systems and to promptly cancel stolen vehicles when they are recovered.

·  To ensure quality control on the updating of cases and to ensure relevant data is linked on the force database for purposes of intelligence and case file preparation.

·  To liaise with other agencies (e.g. Neighbourhood Watch, Victim Support Co-ordinators etc.) as required and in compliance with data sharing policy.

·  To research Force systems for relevant data as and when required.

As a front line public service in North Wales, applicants must have conversational Welsh language skills.

Applicants must be able to demonstrate experience with RMS.

The successful applicant will be required to successfully pass an in-depth background check before commencing role.
