Assembler
Our client, a leading organisation in the cable assembly industry, is seeking a skilled and dedicated Assembler to join their team. As an Assembler, you will play a critical role in the production of electrical, fibre, and hybrid cable assemblies, following specified requirements and contributing to the evolution of our client's cable assembly service.
Responsibilities:
Read schematics and assembly drawings.
Plan and execute assembly, electrical, or testing tasks.
Provide suggestions for improvements to schematic and operational procedures.
Produce high-quality electrical, fibre, and hybrid cable assemblies, adhering to specified requirements.
Continuously develop skills in the termination of electric and fibre optic connectors to contribute to the growth of the cable assembly service.
Test cable assemblies under supervision to ensure compliance with customer specifications.
Requirements:
High attention to detail and ability to work with precision.
Strong ability to read and interpret schematics and assembly drawings.
Experience in cable assembly, electrical work, or testing is preferred.
Knowledge of termination techniques for electric and fibre optic connectors is a plus.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to suggest improvements.
Effective communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
