Position: Technical Business Support Officer
Duration: 3 Months +
We're currently seeking an experienced business support officer to help mange the business support function, delivering excellent customer focused services and lead on and manage all issues relating to business support.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
· To set up and maintain systems and processes to enable the smooth running of the business support work unit.
· To operate as the first point of contact for enquiries to the team, some of which may be complex and or continuous.
· To take an overview of and support data inputting onto the relevant systems ensuring a high level of accuracy that supports data quality and reporting.
· To support colleagues with the arrangements for meetings and case conferences and provide occasional support to the smooth running of these as necessary.
· To ensure diaries and appointments for team members are coordinated and accessible. This includes being fully aware of officers and Managers movements and how to contact them as well as organising meetings and venues, maintaining follow up and bring forward systems to provide alerts for upcoming meetings, appointments and tasks.
· Tasks will include taking minutes, ensuring papers are prepared, relevant professionals are invited to case discussions and accurate case records are kept and follow up undertaken promptly and efficiently.
Successful applicants will need to have local authority experience, as well as a safeguarding background to take Child Protection minutes.
