Branch Assistant/ Sales Advisor

Location: Crawley

Salary: £18k - £23k + annual bonus

Hours: Mon - Fri 8 am - 4.30 pm

The Company: Our client is a global leader in the distribution of electrical and industrial engineering products to the industrial and electronic specialist marketplace.

Key responsibilities

·  Support delivery of market leading level of customer service

·  Efficient, effective and accurate processing of transactions for order processing, customer accounts and warehouse/ stock management activities

·  To build and maintain good working relationships with key personnel in upstream and downstream departments

·  Process quotes / orders / Web and e-mail orders

·  Handle incoming telephone calls

·  Contact new and existing business customers and make follow up calls to customers

·  Liaise with 3 rd party courier / carrier suppliers

·  Able to spot sales opportunities and identify customer needs

·  You will need to be able to work under pressure in a customer facing environment and provide a world class customer service, resolving any issues with customer's demands

·  Must be comfortable conversing with a customer in a commercial & technical way and offering solutions

·  Being able to communicate with trade levels and the general public

·  Utilize marketing promotions to encourage increased spend from customers

Knowledge and experience

·  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

·  Excellent customer service and soft sales skills

·  PC Literacy, Internet and good working knowledge of Microsoft Office or equivalent

·  Customer Focus, Flexibility, Team Working, Personal Effectiveness, Results Orientated

·  Decision Making, Influencing Others and Business Awareness

·  Pension
