To demonstrate, promote and generate business for Vectorworks and related products, both internally and externally to resellers and end users. Develop presentation materials for the product range. To be an ambassador for both Exertis Unlimited and Vectorworks.
1.Evangelise BIM and Vectorworks at events and trade shows and through webinars and formal training sessions
2.Visit Vectorworks users and potential users and through that interaction promote best practice, new features and product training
3.Provide technical support on Vectorworks to end users
4.Create Vectorworks UK specific content for the Vectorworks Service Select user portal
5.Help promote Vectorworks to product manufacturers with a view to developing product libraries / plug-ins for Vectorworks.
6.Be technically proficient with the 3D Design product range.
7.Maintain knowledge of 3D industry trends, end user needs & competitive products.
8.Deliver presentations ( slide based and product demonstration based) to both single companies and groups, either end users or resellers, as developed by the Product Development Manager and other members of the team.
9.Help manage, develop and promote the Vectorworks content of the National BIM library in conjunction with RIBA Enterprises.
10.Represent the company (EU and Vectorworks), where appropriate at industry conferences or on working groups.
11.Help with pilot projects set by trade bodies such as BuildingSMART, OpenBIM Network, Governmental BIM Task Group etc.
12.Liaise with tech support to enable familiarity with current end user problems. If appropriate, contribute to best practice reports and/or new feature documents for both end users and/or Vectorworks' product development team.
13.Keep the VARs and resellers up to date with the development of the products.
14.Generate basic training and presentation material for the 3D Design products. Become familiar with the presentation material and be capable of presenting the same to whoever needs it (resellers, internal sales, end users)
15.Organise and implement Dealer training, provide slides shows, handouts, training tools and any relevant information necessary to satisfy their customers.
16.Make sure the VARs and dealers can and do deliver the necessary commitment and expertise to generate the overall awareness of the products.
17.Provide regular feedback to the group.
18.Attend vendor and other appropriate training.
19.Assist in Press Visits when necessary to make sure the products are represented correctly.
20.Develop the education market ensuring future users for Vectorworks
21.Achieve 3D Group targets and objectives set each month.
22.Assemble product information for EU web site, 3D Design web site and EU publications.
23.Assemble case studies from registered users.
24.Assist manager with any ad hoc duties and objectives deemed appropriate in agreed timescales.
25.Be punctual, maintain dress standards and be polite and courteous to customers, suppliers and staff at all times.
*An architect, architectural technologist, landscape architect or related industry professional.
*A keen interest in BIM and digital design is vital and experience of using Vectorworks is desired.
*Successful candidate will have the ability to take on a project, carry out research and present it to professionals in the architectural, landscape and related design industries.
*Verbal and graphical communication skills are important, as are spelling and grammar.
