We are currently recruiting for a catering assistant to work at The London Borough of Ealing within Rendezvous Caf�.

The Role
As a catering assistant at Ealing Council, You will play an important role of actively participating in the daily operation of the catering unit under direction of the catering supervisor or manager as required. Team participation and good working relation with team members and pupils are essential. To ensure that set standards of food hygiene and food storage etc. are maintained, monitored and regularly reviewed under Health & Safety policies and procedures of London Borough of Ealing.

Location:Ealing Council

Hours: from 7:30am to 15.00pm or 8.45 am until 4:15 pm (depending on a roster with three other staff).

Duration: 3 Months

Rate of Pay: £10.20

Who are we looking for?
As a catering assistant for the Rendezvous Caf�. at The London Borough of Ealing we are looking for someone who has:

Essentials:
*Ability to prepare basic food e.g. sandwiches, salads.
*Ability to cook simple foods e.g. bake pastries
*Awareness of Health and Safety policy, e.g. cleaning up the spillages, keeping the workplace tidy, wearing correct clothing etc.
*Basic food hygiene certificate.
*Experience using barista machine and preparing and making hot drinks.

Desirables:
*Strong organisational skills with ability to prioritise and deliver to deadline-able to multitask,
*Ability to sell high value product.
*Awareness of Health and Safety policy, e.g. cleaning up the spillages, keeping the workplace tidy, wearing correct clothing etc.
*Ability to stock up items to the shelves and fridges.
