Our client in Southampton are looking for an administrator to work in the x-ray department at Southampton General Hospital whilst they recruit permanently. There are prospects for this position to go permanent should you wish to apply for the role after some successful temping.
Working as part of the administration team, you will ensure that there is a first class Managed Equipment Service in accordance with the patients and clinicians at the hospital.
By providing, organising and managing the help desk service duties will include:
*Answering telephones from contractors/staff
*Liaising with equipment users to schedule planned service visits for the equipment in the department
*Accurately recording all related information
*Ensuring helpdesk software systems are current, operational and up to date.
*Raising internal paperwork (handover sheets from engineers etc) and updating the internal systems accordingly
*Arranging for third parties to collect and dispose of faulty equipment
*Distribution of Customer Satisfaction Surveys within the hospital
