Admin/Accounts Assistant required to work for my client in Sandbach. This is a temp to perm role. It is 37.5 hours per week 9-5 Mon - Friday with an unpaid break for lunch of 30 mins. The role is as follows:
Accounts Assistant to join the business on a temp to perm basis reporting to the Financial Controller. The ideal accounts assistant will have previous experience in a similar role or accountancy practice and preferably be part or fully AAT qualified, although proven experience will be taken into account.
The ideal candidate will possess a passion for numbers, problem solving. Accuracy and skills in calculating figures is vital, as is adeptness at paying attention to detail. You will ensure the accuracy of all ledgers and reports etc.
You will be a consistent team player, have the ability to multitask, to be discreet, reliable and trustworthy with good initiative and multitasking skills.
Responsibilities to include;
Reconciling finance accounts
· Maintaining computerised systems using SAGE
· Cash allocation
· Credit Control
· Supplier payments
· Sales order processing
· Invoice/PO matching
· Managing daily post in and out
· Receiving and processing all invoices, expense forms and requests for payment
· Verifying calculations working with the Accounts system
· Month End
· Reconciliation of Direct Debit mandates
· Have an eye for detail and able to spot anomalies
· Able to question charges/fees on invoices
