Accounts Assistant

Salary: £26,000 - £28,000

Based: Richmond

Mon - Fri 9.00am - 5.30pm

Immediate start

Our client is currently recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join their busy vibrant team, The successful applicant will need a strong reconciliation background whilst focusing on reducing exposure by analysing current issues. There will also be a strong requirement on compliance as company policies will need to be adhered to.

Key Tasks:

·  Reconciliation of the daily sales summaries checking cash receipts & credit card payments (using their in-house system).

·  Verify all store cash outflows ensuring that the correct backup & authorisation has been provided (including VAT compliance).

·  Posting of bank transactions plus weekly bank reconciliations for four entities.

·  Investigate variances.

·  Maintenance of card processing portals.

·  Maintain store float usage and variances.

·  Ad hoc tasks as and when required.
