My client is a leading firm of Accountants in South Somerset. Established for many decades, they pride their success on client satisfaction and providing the best service.

Due to continued growth, they are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their friendly, motivated team.

Duties will include;

·  Preparation of accounts for clients, including sole traders and partnerships

·  Preparation of clients VAT returns

·  Adhoc bookkeeping when required

·  Dealing with clients queries

·  Assist with the completion of audits for clients

·  Assisting with the preparation of payroll

·  Maintaining client records, complying to GDPR regulations

·  Adhoc office administration

We are looking for someone who is AAT qualified or a relevant accountancy qualification. Experience with Sage and QuickBooks would be advantageous.

You will be excellent at maintaining relationships with clients as well as working well within the office team. The ideal candidate will be flexible with their approach to work, motivated and extremely accurate with their work.
