We are currently recruiting on behalf of one of our valued clients for a Accounts Assistant on a part-time basis in Montrose. This will be between 16-20 hours to begin with but may grow to full-time position in time. My client is looking for an all round accounts experienced candidate who can deal with sales ledger, purchase ledger, VAT, month end accounting, budgeting and cash-flow forecasting.
Main duties will include:
· Allocating receipts to accounts
· Credit control
· All invoicing
· Assisting with the monthly invoicing runs
· Resolve invoicing and account queries
· Maintain sales ledger records
· Archiving of older records
· Receive and bank customer cheque payments
· Nominal Account Reconciliations
Having worked within a similar position is essential for this role. You must also have knowledge of Sage or Xero along with all Microsoft Office packages.
